Acceptance

Backstory time:

Long ago, there were other elements that were made before the 6 we know of today. One of those was the Element of Acceptance. Back when there were the three tribes, the element crumbled since no pony was willing to accept other races and ideas. The barer at the time could no longer harness the power of it and was killed since she wanted to combine the tribes to make a peaceful land. No pony listened and their hatred for one another grew over time. The element glowed and released Windigos onto the tribes. This is what lead to the play in Hearth's Warming Eve. Derpy was born long after the events of the play with "derped" eyes. She was called an idiot, clumsy and worse words even though it wasn't her fault. She was clumsy since her saw in two different directions leading her to stumble around and not know where she was. She wasn't an idiot but just learned at a slower pace than others. She became depressed but realized that she is who she is and accepted her derped eyes. After this, she told everyone that they shouldn't judge people on how they look or seem to act like. Her bullies looked for other victims and one of those victims was Carrot Cake. She was being bullied because people claimed her cutie mark was horrible and told her she couldn't make a living out of gardening. She believed them and everyday would cross out her cutie mark in chalk so no pony could judge her on the "stupid" cutie mark. One day on the way home, her bullies became physical and beat her up. Derpy was flying home and saw them attack the filly. She stopped them and told them "Why judge her for what she is? Are you all that closed-minded?". She lifted the Earth Pony filly from the ground and took her home. There, to cheer her up, Derpy suggested them try to blow bubbles while popping bubble wrap. Carrot Top loved the idea and they went through with it. Derpy's cutie mark appeared but Derpy was slightly confused. What was her talent? She found out her calling was surprisingly being a mail pony and that is how she lived her life. From that day that Derpy saved Carrot Top, the element begun to form once more and chose Derpy was it's bearer. Derpy was helping a couple by telling them how to say they love each other despite being bi. When she went home, the necklace was on her bed with her bubble cutie mark as the center gem. Derpy, interested in the necklace went to Twilight to find out what it was. She knew of the Elements but never saw them. Twilight was shocked to see another element and told Celestia. Celestia was also shocked and went to the Canterlot library to figure out what it was. She told her faithful student tat it was the Element of Acceptance and Derpy is it's bearer. Her bullies found out she was now an important mare and quickly apologized, saying they were sorry. Derpy didn't see herself as a higher pony than anyone and instead tried to find out who the other elements are and the results were shocking...
